Terlingua School 1973, Student Hikes

The great outdoors was our classroom. Many days we would lay down our books, grab a snack and set off to explore the great outdoors. There wasn't a cactus, a plant or rock that we didn't examine and talk about. Just over the big hill behind the school was Terlingua Creek, a great place to take off your shoes and wade through the cool water on a hot Terlingua day.
